Potential Growth Scenarios
Four concepts have been identified to show the potential levels of growth that could be achieved to the west of Penkridge. They include three concepts that are focussed on land owned by Staffordshire County Council to explore the potential levels of growth that could be achieved at different scales and combinations. The fourth concept illustrates the full potential for growth and encompasses wider landholdings.
These four concepts are supported with a summary of the key components and an overview of the levels of investment they could support for Penkridge.
Concept 01
Extension to North West Penkridge
Most limited in scale, located to the north west of Penkridge on land held by the County Council.

Limitations due to existing highways – upgrades necessary

Concept 02
Extension to South West Penkridge
Focusses growth to the south west of Penkridge on land held by the County Council and the benefits that could be delivered.

Concept 03
Extension to West of Penkridge
Forms a combination of Concepts 1 & 2 to the west of Penkridge utilising the full scope of land held by the County Council and additional potential benefits that could be delivered.
